A few mid-month announcements:
1) If you are interested in B2B content marketing, there is a local event happening next Wednesday morning. One of the speakers is longtime member Derek Edmond, who is offering a discount to our members. More details here. 2) Our next SEO Meetup event is coming up on 5/4 4/5. We’ll be over at the Microsoft NERD Center this month, and the speaker will be Nick Stamoulis from Brick Marketing. He’ll be discussing “Local SEO Tips for Businesses Target Local Visitors” offering actionable tips and advice about increasing your local search traffic for a bricks & mortar business.
There us still no food sponsor locked down for this event (let us know & get some links!), but rumor has it that our meetup will actually be held in the amazingly snazztastic 11th floor space that is featured on the front of the MSCambridge web site. Worth checking out for the room alone, and the view of Boston and the Charles River basin at sunset (conveniently scheduled for 7:15pm).
3) Thanks again to our great speaker from last month, Wendy Limauge of SweetiesSweeps. She gave an informative and entertaining talk about successfully making a living by blogging and managing a facebook community around a niche topic.
