October Meetup & New Venue!

September 28, 2009 by davematson

Our October 5th Meetup is just a week away, and we are trying out an alternate location, courtesy of Microsoft Cambridge.

Over the years we have regularly received requests to hold our events at a more T friendly venue, and we have a good opportunity to try a new space that meets that goal.

The location is at 1 Memorial Drive, right in Kendall Square. Public transportation is recommended.  There is some metered parking in the area, and the building garage is available for (I think) $10.

We will be watching the feedback closely, and if the venue is well received by the membership, we will consider alternating locations between here and our regular home at the Arlington library. So please let us know what you think!

If you are attending, please RSVP ASAP at http://www.meetup.com/BostonSEO/calendar/11112352/.

There is building security, so I need to get them a preliminary list of attendees very soon. If you are signed up in advance, it will make things simpler if you are already on the list when getting in.

Our presenter for the evening will be Stephen Turcotte of Backbone Media, and the topic is “Content Strategies: How important are they to SEO?”
