After Google Webmaster tools stopped recommending directory submissions I feel that this means they are discounting directory links for SEO value. I don&#039;t feet that they are going to penalize directory links but they are probably not a significant factor in your rankings. So only submit to directories if you think you will get traffic from them, otherwise step up your link building game with some modern link building tactics.</description>
